I came to the point where I had to cut off all three of my credit cards because I was using it more often than paying, and it came to the point where the monthly dues were too much, that I could not afford paying it anymore with my monthly salary,I could not control my spending. I had to ask help from my bank, and wrote to them about my situation that I can no longer continue paying for my credit card dues monthly because the interest was too high. I was then provided with a payment scheme that was with in my reach, I was so fortunate and thankful that my bank replied right away. I got a salary loan in my office, and I was able to pay my credit balance in full, they also recalculated my bill, and took away the interests. I felt so relieved and happy, that I have no more credit card to think about every payday, though I am also a bit sad, because I do not have anymore that convenience of having a credit card when it comes to shopping online. But mostly, having no credit card brought a lot of good than bad, the first thing is that my splurges are greatly lessened, because now, if I do not have the money, I will not be able to buy anything. Second is that I am able to value money more, and it has taught me to save instead of spend, because when the time comes that you greatly need money, like hospitalization and accidents, you have something to use. After being a delinquent credit card holder, what is the process of credit card applications now, after several years of not having a credit card, I wonder.
